Alina Baimen, as the co-founder and CEO of EdHeroes Network, is dedicated to advancing UNSDG 4 (Quality Education) through global collaboration and community building in education. EdHeroes, a decentralized network with over 270,000 members in 135 countries, operates with a “glocal” vision, ensuring both global connectivity and responsiveness to local educational challenges. Alina works closely with education-focused organizations and leaders to promote equity in education and strengthen learning ecosystems through innovative, collaborative solutions. She is also an active contributor to international social impact platforms like Catalyst 2030, driving systemic change in education worldwide.

Before founding EdHeroes, Alina led social development projects across Southeast Asia to improve education and quality of life. She played a key role in building kindergartens in remote areas of Thailand, developing educational programs for persons with disabilities in Singapore, launching sustainability and education initiatives in India, and providing access to clean water and sanitation in underserved communities. With a BSc in Physics and Art History from the University of Toronto, Alina brings a multidisciplinary perspective to social impact projects, continuously working on innovative and inclusive education solutions for a better future.
