Zafer Öztürk was born in 1972 in Istanbul. He graduated from the Department of Political Science at Bilkent University. He initially worked in his family’s business, which operated in the tourism, construction, and textile sectors. Until 1998, he actively managed operations in the family company based in Poland. In the same year, he entered the field of education as the founding representative of Florya College. Believing that education is not merely a profession but a way of life and a profound responsibility, he pursued a second degree in Turkish Language and Literature at Istanbul Kültür University, becoming a Turkologist. He then completed a teaching certificate program at Yeditepe University and became a teacher. He also earned a master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision.

Currently, he manages their 22-year-old schools together with his cousins. He is also actively involved in the Rumeli Education Foundation, the Rumeli Managers and Businesspeople Association, and the TOBB (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye) Education Council.

Zafer Öztürk, who speaks English, Bosnian, and Polish fluently, has been serving as the President of the Executive Board of the Private Schools Association of Turkiye since 2020.
